A Message from the Athletic Dept. about Live Streaming Our Games & Being COVID Compliant
Updated on 06/10/2022
From the Athletic Department;
Pixellot (the video system) purchased by the Booster Club, has been installed in both the gym and on the football/soccer field. However it has not been configured. I called yesterday and was advised that since there has been such an influx of schools purchasing Pixellot, the wait could be 5-7 days. The same goes for on-line ticketing, I was in contact with them yesterday as well. Once both entities are up and running the Athletic Department will be advised and we will be sending out a notification and links on how to purchase tickets online and how to purchase various packets to watch all future events being held on our field or in the gym for the remainder of the school year.
We will begin charging for football games, starting with tomorrow's game, 9-25, v Royal Oak Shrine. The cost will be $5 per person, and each athlete, both Football and Cheer, are allowed two spectators. .Do not bring more than two people, as they will be denied entrance. This is so the school can be COVID compliant. If we violate the rules, our teams can be banned from participating in any more contests. We waited too long, let's not ruin our kids' seasons.
Starting Monday, Sept. 28th, we will be charging $5 admission for all soccer and volleyball games. Again a limit of two spectators per athlete. Please adhere to the above restrictions.
No re-entry will be allowed once someone has left the premises. Masks must be worn when entering the premises and remain in place for the endurance of the entire contest. All people, whether workers, coaches, officials or fans entering the complex will have to follow COVID protocol, answering a series of questions prior to admittance. No exceptions. If someone in your party is ill or has been exposed to someone exhibiting conditions related to COVID, we ask that you refrain from attending the games.
The Booster Club will not be providing concessions, so drinks may be brought into the complex. We are only asking that all spectators police the area and pick up any stray bottle or cans.
I realize this is a long email, and the Athletic Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to our fans, however this is in the best interests of all athletes, coaches, officials and others who may be susceptible to COVID-19.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. Go Monarchs!
