On Friday, April 29th, the Cabrini softball team hosted Canton Prep in a non-league game. The Monarchs cruised to a 19-0 victory, in a game shortened to three innings due to the mercy rule. Sophomore Brianna Manning recorded 7K's and didn't allow a base runner pitching a perfect, albeit shortened game.
Freshman Aryanna Sandusky continued her torrid hitting with a triple, two singles and 4 RBI. Senior Samantha Graf also tripled and drove in three runs. Junior Mary Schantz and Freshman Addison Schindler each had a single and 2 RBI. Freshman Morgan Frank added two singles, Manning a double and RBI, Senior Ella Nowc a single and two stolen bases. Sophomore Madison Lewicki had a single, stolen base and drove in two runs, while Freshman Faith Sterling accounted for the last run being driven in by the Monarchs.
Cabrini now goes on the road to face Rochester Hills Lutheran North in a CHSL doubleheader on Monday, May 2nd.
