On Saturday, May 8th, Cabrini traveled to Warren to face #8 Regina in a league contest. Regina came out on top 6-5 on an unearned in the bottom of the seventh after a couple of walks. Reid led off the top of the first inning with a line drive home run to left. On the day she had 2 RBI, scored a run and stole a base.
The other contributors for Cabrini were Noah, who had a hit and an RBI, Nowc who had a hit and scored a run. Sophomore Mary Schantz had a hit and an RBI, fellow Sophomore Elaine Teed had a hit and scored a run, Manning had a hit, an RBI and scored a run and fellow Freshman Madison Lewicki also had a hit and scored a run.
The Monarchs next game is Tuesday, May 11th, when they travel to Dearborn to face Divine Child in a single league game.
