On Friday, April 30th, the Cabrini softball team travelled to Riverview to face league rival Gabriel Richard. Once again it was a pitchers duel, with the Monarchs coming out on top 2-0. Senior Mackenzie Noah once again pitched a strong game striking out 11 and yielding only 2 hits.
Offensively the Monarchs were paced by Junior Ella Nowc, who went 1-2 with and RBI. Freshman Brianna Manning went for 1-3, Senior Wyndem Reid scored one of the Monarchs' runs with Noah, who went 1-4 scoring the other. Sophomore Elaine Teed got credit for an RBI as well.
Cabrini's next game is Tuesday May 4th, when they host Farmington Hills Mercy in a league match.
