On Thursday, Cabrini travelled to Richmond to face an always tough Division 2 squad. It was a fairly low scoring game, but the Monarchs prevailed 4-0. Sophomore Mackenzie Noah struck on eight in the contest. Offensively, the Monarchs were led by Junior second baseman Vivianna Gonzalez, who had two hits and two RBI. Senior Madison Buerkle had a two run double left to put the game out of reach. The Monarchs next contest is Saturday in the District finals against the winner of Ecorse and Riverview Richard.
