On Thursday, May 12th, the Cabrini JV Baseball team hosted Frankel Jewish Academy in a non-league contest. The Monarchs came away with a dominating 9-1 win. Freshman Alex Thompson took the mound and yielded only two hits while striking out 19 Frankel batters. On the offensive side, Sophomore Carson Bradley went 2-3 with 2 RBI and Freshman Jonathan Floare went 1-3 with 3 RBI.
Coach Marc Strong said he was glad to get the underclassmen on the field. With a varsity roster of 20 players, there were not enough to field two full teams, so he created a hybrid to allow the underclassmen to develop.
