The Monarchs traveled to Dundee HS this weekend to compete in the SMISL Relays. As a whole, the team turned in a good performance with the lions share of our team turning in faster times than last week. Here are the team results.

Here are the top 12 finishes from individual event results. The Monarchs kicked of the weekend with the Cabrini Divers, senior Grace Sabo and freshman Grace DeBerardino turning in a 5th place performance on Friday.
Saturday morning started off with a 6th place finish from the team of Lily Heath, Thomas Day, Daniel Misovich and Evan Trohimczyk in the 200 Medley Relay. The same group of four followed that up with a 3rd place finish in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
Cabrini placed two relay teams in the 500 Freestyle Crescendo, finishing 11th with the team of Max Iglesias, Kyra Roth, Riley Bonar, Rachel Zarb and Christian Campitelle and 12th with the team of Marin Genaw, Taylor Bonar, Lauren Schulte, Brendan Fix and Ben Luna.
In the 200 Backstroke Relay the Monarchs placed 7th with the team of Lily Heath, Kyra Roth, Niko LaGrecca and Chloe Roth. Cabrini followed that up with a 9th place finish in the 200 Butterfly by Max Iglesias, Tony LaGrecca, Rachel Zarb and Niko LaGrecca.
In the Long and short 700 Freestyle Relay, the team of Evan Trohimczyk, Thomas Day, Lily Heath, Tanner Pogorzelski and Daniel Misovich finished 5th. The Monarchs then followed that up with a 5th place finish in the 200 Breaststroke from the team of Thomas Day, Lauren Schulte, Tony LaGrecca and Tanner Pogorzelski and a 7th place finish in the 600 Free Relay by the team of Evan Trohimczyk, Niko LaGrecca and Tanner Pogorzelski.
In the day's final event, the 200 Freestyle Under/Over, the team of Rachel Zarb, Kyra Roth, Lauren Schulte and Daniel Misovich.finished 9th to round out the afternoon.
The Monarchs last test before the Christmas break will be this Dec.21st, when they travel to Woodhaven for the Warrior Invitational.
