On Thursday, January 13th, the Cabrini/Riverview hockey team hosted New Boston Huron in a Huron league contest. The Monarchs/Pirates came out with a 9-0 win in a game called after just two periods. Seven goals were scored in the first period alone.
In a well balanced attack, the scoring was evenly distributed, led by Jordan Szuch and Hayden Holmes each scoring twice. Bram Wolf scored first with assists by Zach Norscia-Ziembic and Szuch. Carson Muglia scored next, assisted by Ethan Horen. Szuch then scored with an assist by Jayce Johnson. Jalen McCray scored the fourth goal with an assist from Szuch. Hayden Holmes had goal number five, assisted by Hayden Kieltyka, the first of his three points and Gabe Livernois. Holmes got his second goal of the evening with assists from Blake Schwartz and Livernois who picked up his second point of the game. Horen picked up his second point scoring goal number seven, with assists from Johnson, his second point and Braeden Goers. Kieltyka scored goal number eight on a power play. Nathan Neubacher finished off the scoring with assists by Kieltyka and Matt Majewski.
