After a slow start to the season, the Cabrini/Riverview hockey team has come on strong. They started the season losing four of their first five games, but rebounded by winning four of the last five games. On December 17th and 18th they played in the Gabriel Richard Invitational at Yack Arena in Wyandotte.

They won the first game of the tournament, beating Grosse Ile 6-2.  Grosse Ile took the early lead 2-1 after the first period.

Grosse Ile took the early lead 2-1, but Cabrini scored the next 5 goals.

Hayden Kieltyka scored the first goal with an assist by Hayden Holmes and Gabe Livernois

The second goal was scored by Jordan Szuch with assists from Nathan Nuebecker and Jalen McCray

The third goal was scored by Blake Schwartz with Holmes picking up his second assist of the game

Goal number four came from Jayce Johnson assisted by Carson Muglia.

Holmes picked up his third point of the game scoring on assists by Kieltyka and McCray

Holmes finished  the scoring with his 2nd goal and fourth point of the night with assists from Kieltyka, who picked up his third point and Livernois who picked up his second point of the game.

Josiah Dembrosky played goal and stopped 23 of 25 shots.
