On Saturday, Feb. 28th Cabrini hosted Ann Arbor Huron in a last minute change of opponents. Originally the Monarchs were to host Dearborn Divine Child, but the game was canceled due to Covid restrictions pertaining to contact tracing. Huron graciously agreed to take the Falcons spot on very little notice.
Cabrini came away with a 4-0 win. Junior Hayden Kieltyka led the Monarchs with four points, as he scored a hat trick plus an assist. Fellow Junior Nathan Neubecker had the other Monarch goal. Senior Brandon Hiuser pitched a shutout, as he turned away 37 shots, and several breakaway attempts. It was the Monarchs first win in a thus far tumultuous season Covid shortened season.
The next scheduled game is this Wednesday, March 3rd, vs Riverview Community.
