On Friday, Jan.31st, the Cabrini Hockey team traveled to Saginaw to face Tri-Valley in a non-league contest. The Titans came out on top though winning 5-2. Seniors Evan Taylor and Luke Metropoulus each scored a goal. Senior Evan Estes and Junior Nathan Wincel, both from Belleville, and Sophomore Andrew Seminara of Annapolis, added assists, to complete the scoring.
On Saturday, Feb. 1st, the Monarchs came away with an overtime win 5-4, over the FNV Griffins. Metropoulus led the way with 3 points, on one goal and 2 assists. Seminara had 2 points, with a goal and an assist. Sophomore Bram Wolf and Senior Cole McNulty of Belleville rounded out the goal scoring with one a piece. Taylor and Estes each picked up a point as both were credited with assists.
The Monarchs next game is Thursday, Feb. 5th, when they travel to Taylor to participate in the MIHL Showcase.
