The Monarchs traveled to Harrison High School last night for their final CHSL doubleheader of the year against Frankel Jewish Academy. The team would come away with another road sweep against the Jaguars with scores of 16-0 (3) and 11-1 (5). Senior Jimmy Fister would throw all 3 innings of the first game without allowing a hit and striking out 3. In Game 2, junior Evan Taylor got the start and pitched 3 innings while striking out 5. Fellow junior Bryce Bienko would come in relief the final two innings while striking out 2.
On back to back nights, the Monarchs came out swinging scoring 27 runs in just 8 innings of play. Junior Nick Ballas was 5 for 5 on the night while tallying 7 RBI's and stealing 4 bases. Leadoff hitter, junior Evan Taylor was right behind him going 4 for 6 with 2 doubles. Middle of the lineup hitters, seniors Jimmy Fister and Alex Nealey were great at the plate as well, both going 3 for 3 on the day and scoring 5 runs a piece. Senior Logan Fryz would add 3 hits of his own with 3 stolen bases and 4 runs scored. Fellow classman senior Chaz Price entered the second game and was 1 for 1 with a stolen base.
