The Monarchs resumed CHSL play, after a week hiatus due to weather, against Our Lady of the Lakes and would come away with a split Saturday afternoon. In Game 1, the Monarchs won 3-2 but Lakes would bounce back Game 2 to defeat Cabrini 4-2. In Game 1, senior Jimmy Fister would pitch a gem to earn the complete game win while striking out 7 and only allowing 2 runs, with some great defensive plays to back him up.

The offensive charge in Game 1 was lead by senior Logan Fryz who would go 3 for 3 on the day with a single, double, triple, and a walk. Fryz ended up scoring 2 of the 3 team's runs, with one of them being on a clutch walk-off hit by senior Alex Nealey to propel the Monarchs to victory! Freshmen Ryan Kugelman would also add to the offense going 2 for 4 in the game and scoring one run. The Monarchs will resume CHSL play in a big doubleheader away at Cranbrook Tuesday evening!
