Cabrini Bowling Traveled to Bowl One Lane for a Catholic League Match

On Monday, the Cabrini Bowling teams traveled to Bowl One Lane for Catholic League matches. The Girls team defeated Riverview Gabriel Richard 30-0, to improve to 8-0 on the year and guaranteed at least a tie for the division title.  The Monarchs were led by sophomore Brianna Manning, who rolled games of 196 and 180, for a 376 series. Junior Jordan Downham remained a solid force with games of 162 and 161. Senior Samantha Graf rolled a 166 and Freshman Justine Moore capped off the afternoon with a 158. The ladies bowl next week against Chesterfield Austin Catholic which is (7-1) for the outright division title. 

 
On the Boys side, the Monarchs came up just a little bit short, losing to Madison Heights Bishop Foley 16-14.  Both teams finished 7-1 and are Co-Champions  of the Division. The boys were led by Junior David Kowalski, who rolled games of 215 and 237 for a combined 452 series, a very good showing.  Sophomore Wyatt Korndorfer rolled a high game of 185 and Junior Nathan Radke finished with a high game of 171. 
 
The Monarchs finish the season next Tuesday,February 15th at Ten pins Alley, and then prepare for the Catholic league Championship on Saturday, February 19th at Westland Lanes.
