On Wednesday, the Cabrini Bowling team traveled to Bloomfield Hills to play in a Catholic League match hosted by Frankel Jewish Academy. The boys faced off against Ann Arbor Fr. Gabriel Richard, and came away with a 28-2 victory and improved to 5-1 on the season. The boys were led by Sophomores David Kowalski who rolled games of 199 and 174 and Nathan Radke with games of 178 and 189. Senior Matthew Heath came in at 170 and Junior Evan Pogorzelski finished the high scorers with a 166.
The girls weren't as lucky, losing a tough match to Chesterfield Austin Catholic 18-12, to fall to 4-3. Junior Samantha Graf led the way for the Monarchs with a high game of 189. Sophomore Jordan Downham also came up big with a 180
The Monarchs next match is Monday, March 1st, in Riverview in a Catholic league match hosted by Riverview Gabriel Richard.
