Cabrini Bowling Maintains its Winning Ways

On Wednesday, Jan. 22nd, the Cabrini bowling team traveled to North Cherry Hill Lanes in Clarkston, for a Catholic league match hosted by Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes. The varsity boys team remained undefeated by shutting out past Lakes 30-0. Freshman David Kowalski led the way with games of 183 and 201. Sophomore Chris Stevens rolled a 180 and Junior Matthew Heath rounded out the high scoring with 168.

The Girls varsity defeated Chesterfield Austin Catholic 22-8. Freshman Jordan Downham led the way with games of 201 and 188.  The Sophomore tandem of Samantha Graf (147) and Isabella Cafini (136) rounded out the high scoring for the Lady Monarchs.  .  

The JV boys ended a perfect afternoon by beating Bloomfield Hills Sacred Heart 23-7. Seniors Diego Vallejo (201) and Luke Adamkiewicz (174) came up big for the Monarchs in the victory.  Coach Josh Jablonski was happy with the results, but warned the teams not to get complacent. With two big matches coming up next week and the CHSL championships only three weeks away, the team needs to maintain it's edge.

Cabrini's next match is Monday, Jan.27th, in Bloomfield Hill,s when Jewish Frankel Academy hosts the Catholic League.
