On Monday, the Cabrini bowling team got off to a great start at the Bishop Foley invitational. The Monarchs boys team defeated  Detroit Loyola 25-5, with sophomore Chris Stevens and freshman David Kowalski leading the way. The Varsity Girls followed that with a defeat of Bloomfield Hills Sacred Heart 23-7. Freshman Jordan Downham and sophomore Sam Graf were the high scorers.  Not to be outdone, the Junior Varsity Boys team defeated Bloomfield Hills Jewish Academy 20-10, with freshman Tony Russo and senior Luke Adamkiewicz inflicting the damage. Coach Josh Jablonski said while he was pleased with the team's showing he looks for an even better performance next week. "There is a lot of potential on this team at both levels, we just need a little more consistency.", Jablonski said.

The Monarchs will be hosting their Catholic League opponents, and hoping to keep this hot start going, on Dec. 16th at Thunderbowl Lanes at 3:30. Go Monarchs!
