On a very windy day Cabrini lost to a very tough St. Catherine's, team 8-0. Our girls are getting better and better. St Catherine’s is a tough team and in a higher division. The number #1 doubles team, made up of Seniors Erin Renaud and Gabby Martin played well, but ended up on the losing end of their match, 5-8. Monarchs number #2 doubles tandem of Juniors Lauren Baird and Maddie Roy also ended up with a defeat, 4-8 loss. The Cabrini number #3 doubles team of Maddie and Junior Marah Winkles played well, they came close as well, but fell at 5-8. The Monarchs #4 doubles of Freshman Izzy Wolney and Sophomore Savannah Manungas went down to defeat, 3-8. Senior Maria Cyr, the Monarchs #1 singles played close games but succumbed 1-8. All these matches are setting up the Monarchs for future success in their division, which resumes after Spring Break.
