On Wednesday, May 26th, the Cabrini softball team hosted Madison Heights Bishop Foley in a non-league contest. Cabrini rebounded from a tough loss the previous day in the CHSL Finals by defeating Foley 6-0. Senior Mackenzie Noah held her opponents to just 2 hits while striking out 15.
Noah went 1-3 driving in 3 runs. Those runs were scored by Junior Ella Nowc who had a big day going 3-3 and driving in a run. Senior Wyndhem Reid showed her speed on a triple in the third inning, and then scored on a Nowc single. Freshman Brianna Manning went 1-3 and scored a run, while Sophomore Mary Schantz went 1-3 with 2 RBI's.
The Monarchs next game is June 1st when they travel to Detroit to face Western in a non-league game.
