On March 31st, the Cabrini Girls Soccer Team traveled to Madison Heights to play a match against a tough Bishop Foley squad. Despite having a very young team, the Monarchs played a very inspired match, but came up on the losing end, by a score of 2-0. Defense kept the team in the game, led by Junior Krista Mantlow, Sophomores Marissa Smith and Kaitlyn Jabczenski, and Freshman Carly Roth kept Cabrini in the game.

On the offensive side, midfielders, Junior Elaine Teed, Isabella Roa, Niamh O'Connell, Madelynn Glazier, controlled the field in the second half, testing the Foley defense on multiple chances, but just could not find the back of the net.  Senior Rylee Leboda made some good saves and had one incredible save, where she went into a full body extension to deny the Foley forward a potential goal.

The Monarchs next game is Monday, April 4th when they host Bishop Foley in a rematch of this home and home series.
