On Saturday, May 15th, the Cabrini girls soccer team hosted Riverview Gabriel Richard in a CHSL league match. In their last competition, the teams tied 2-2 in a very wet and soggy evening. Under early morning sunny conditions, the Monarchs came out on top with a 4-0 victory.
The Monarchs were led by sophomores Niamh O'Connell and Krista Mantlow who both scored two goals. Mantlow's were unassisted and O'Connell had one unassisted and one assisted by Mantlow. Junior Rylee Lieboda pitched another shutout. With the win, Cabrini clinched their division title. The Monarchs next contest is Wednesday, May 19th, when they host Clarkston Everest at 7:30P in the CHSL semi-finals.
