The Cabrini Girls soccer team played the second game of back to back home contests, this time against Cristo Rey. The Monarchs had their head coach back on the sideline to guide them to victory. And what a victory it was, with a final score of 8-0.

Junior Abby Formella led the Monarch attack with 3 goals, one of which was unassisted and  2 assists. No to be  out done, Senior Gabby Teems had a big game as well with 3 goals and an assist. Fellow senior Alex Henson joined in the fun with 1 goal and 2 assists. Freshman Abby Portmann had a goal with an assist from Senior goalkeeper Chloe Roth, who came out of goal after blanking Cristo Rey for her time in net during the contest. Senior Erin O'Neill and Junior Hannah Cieglo also contributed with assists.

The Monarchs next contest is Tuesday at home against Jewish Frankel Academy. Just a reminder, tonight's match against Waterford Our lady of the Lakes has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, May 13th.
