On Tuesday, Jan. 7th, the Cabrini Girls Basketball team hosted Dearborn Advanced Tech. the Monarchs came away with a decisive 60 -25 win. The Monarchs were led by Freshman mary Schantz who scored 12 points, Junior Isabella Norscia-Ziembiec with 10 points and Senior Mackenzie Schick. Coach Marc Strong said, "I was very pleased with the effort, especially after coming back from the Christmas break. The girls did a good job in holding them to only 25 points and our ball distribution continues to improve. Hopefully this will carry over into or next game."
Cabrini hopes to continue its winning ways when they travel to Wixom to play St. Catherine of Siena on Wednesday, Jan. 8th. The JV plays at 5;30 and the varsity at 7p. Go Monarchs!
