The Cabrini JV Boys Basketball team traveled to Grosse Pointe on March 3rd for a game against University-Liggett. They lost a tough one against a formidable Liggett, by a score of 60 to 44. Freshman Alex Thompson led the Monarchs on the offensive side with 14 points and 8 assists. Sophomores Ben Maffesoli with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Brayden McKay with 6 points and 8 rebounds kept Cabrini in the game through three quarters with their work on the boards, but the boys came up short. The Monarchs next game is March 4th, when they host Chesterfield Austin Catholic at 5:30.
