The Monarchs and their new head coach, Sam Lamb, opened their season with a win over Clarenceville by a score of 72-54. Junior Jackson Stanley, led the way with 20pts and 17rebs., and fellow junior Bobby O' Guin, kicked in with- 14pts, 11rebs. Seniors Logan Fryz, 10pts and Jimmy Fister- 9pts rounded out the team's top scorers. 9 out of 11 Monarchs scored. These are the most points scored by the varsity boys basketball team in 5 years!
