On Tuesday, the Cabrini Girls basketball team hosted Ann Arbor Greenhills in a Catholic League matchup. The girls were strong out of the gate and played a solid overall game enroute to a 51-21. Sophomore Kaitlyn Jabczenski paced the Monarchs with14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Junior Niamh O'Connell added 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals and Senior Ania Ghazzawi had 7 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block, in a solid overall performance. Great defensive efforts were also turned in by Senior Ella Nowc, Juniors Elaine Teed, and Gabby Roa. Coach Karen Jabczensk said the entire team contributed in a total team effort. The Monarchs next game is Tuesday, January 18th, when they host Royal Oak Shrine.
