On Friday, April 23rd, the Cabrini softball team hosted Dearborn Divine Child in a CHSL doubleheader. In the first game the Monarchs pulled out a 7-4 victory over the Falcons. Senior Mackenzie Noah led the way both offensively and defensively. Noah struck out 12 from the mound and scattered 5 hits. Offensively she was 3 for 3 with 5 RBI's and scored 3 times. Fellow Senior Wyndem Reid went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored Sophomore Mary Schantz went 2 for 4an RBI and a run scored and Freshman Brianna Manning scored twice and knocked in a run.
The nightcap did not go as well for the Monarchs, as they fell 4-0 to the Falcons. Cabrini was held to only three hits in the loss. The Monarchs next game is Tuesday, April 27th, when they host Ann Arbor Fr. Gabriel Richard/Greenhills.
