Boys JV Basketball Dominated Austin Academy 46-16
On Tuesday, Feb. 23rd, the Cabrini Boys JV Basketball team traveled to Chesterfield Township to face Austin Academy. The Monarchs started quickly with a 15-0 lead at the end of the first quarter but struggled in the second and led at halftime 19-6. After some encouraging words from Coach Joe Osmulski in the locker room the team came out in the second half the team with a renewed enthusiasm. The Monarchs outscored Austin 27-10 and finished with a 46-16 victory. Cabrini was led by Sophomore Ben Maffesoli with 12 points. Freshman Ethan Watson followed up with 7 points.
The Monarchs' next game is Thursday, Feb. 25th when they host Clarenceville.
