JV Boys Basketball Had a Slow Start but Ended with a Nice Victory Over Liggett 41-31

On Tuesday, Feb. 4th, the Cabrini JV Boys basketball team hosted Grosse Pointe University Liggett in a CHSL contest. After a very slow start, the Monarchs gained traction and came from behind for a 41-31 win. Freshmen Jack Delaney and Owen Tomsic led the team in scoring with 13 points a piece, and Sophomore Kamren Shoemaker added 12 points. Coach Joe Osmulski was frustrated by the start, and said, "We've had too many games like that, where we have to come from behind, out of the gate. We need to get off to a good start and control the tempo more efficiently." The boys, who are tied for first place with Everest Academy, travel to Waterford to play Our Lady of the Lakes on Thursday, Feb. 6th.
