JV Boys Basketball Winning Another Hard Fought Game
The JV Boys Basketball team traveled to Clarkston on Wednesday, Jan. 28th, to face Everest in a CHSL contest. The Monarchs, looking to bounce back from a loss the previous night to Flint Powers Cathoilc again started slowly out of the gate. However, after a shaky first half, which found them trailing by eight, the Monarchs came back and edged Everest 37-36. The boys were led by Freshmen Owen Tomsic with 16 points and Jack Delaney with 7 points.
The Monarchs next game is Tuesday, Feb.4th, when they host Grosse Pointe University Liggett, Game time is 5:30.
