On Saturday, 1/14/2023, 12 local high school teams traveled to Belleville High School to compete in the annual Tiger Invite. While no team scores were kept, by the end of the day, the St. Frances Cabrini Monarchs earned 49 Personal Records and 3 Season Records!

Highlights from the day’s events include: Freshman Peter Farris dropping 11 seconds in the 200 Freestyle, Senior Taylor Bonar dropping 29 seconds in the 500 Freestyle, Sophomore Jenny Day and Junior Amy Tran dropping 6 seconds in the 100 Backstroke each, as well as Sophomore Ralph Kaleniecki securing 17^th place in the 100 Breaststroke along with dropping 3 seconds from his entry time. A total of 7 Monarchs dropped 1 – 2 seconds in the 50 Freestyle, with an additional 6 Monarchs dropping the same amount of time in the 100 Freestyle.

In a special turn of events, the Cabrini Monarchs had 3 relay teams in which each member earned a personal record in their leg of the race. This includes the team of Senior Chris Russelburg, P. Farris, Senior Kieran Fix, and R. Kaleniecki, as well as the team of A. Tran, Sophomore Connor Tomsic, Freshman Carter Russelburg, and Freshman Padraig John in the 200 Freestyle Relay. The relay team of Sophomore Mia Rossman, Freshman Mykel Marko, P. John, and Freshman Lucy Trombetta each earned a personal record in their leg of the 400 Freestyle Relay.
