Cabrini hit the road Tuesday visiting Detroit Cristo Rey for a league game whom the Monarchs haven’t beaten since 2016 & came away with a hard fought 58 to 38 victory moving the Monarchs to 3-0 in division play and 4-7 overall. Cabrini took a 27 to 14 lead into half-time and kept their tough defense going in the 2^nd half propelling the Monarchs to the victory. Cabrini was led by Freshman Lander Emerick with a game high 16 points & 8 rebounds, Owen Tomsic had 10 points & 6 assists, Brayden McKay keeping added 9 points & 3 key free throws late in the 4^th quarter & Jeremy Smith dropped in 7 points along with 4 assists. The Monarchs are at home Thursday at 7pm against Royal Oak Shrine & then hit the road again Saturday afternoon for a matchup with Jackson Lumen Christi.
